About us

Ethio-Nordic healthcare professionals association (ENHPA) is a non profit association legally registered in Sweden, established in 2020, by healthcare professionals of Ethiopian heritage living in the Nordic countries.

Mission and Objectives

The Ethio-Nordic Health Professionals Association (ENHPA) is a multidisciplinary organization that brings together healthcare professionals residing in the Nordic countries who share strong connections to Ethiopia. Our mission is to foster collaboration and create meaningful professional links within the diaspora and with colleagues in Ethiopia. We are dedicated to strengthening networks that support health promotion efforts, both locally and internationally. By facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experience, we aim to make collaboration between Ethiopian healthcare professionals—both inside and outside the country—more accessible and impactful. ENHPA actively promotes partnerships in healthcare, education, and research between the Nordic region and Ethiopia. We also support professionals who wish to work in Ethiopia on a short-term as well as long-term basis by helping them connect, share experiences, and contribute their skills. Through these efforts, we are building lasting bridges of knowledge, skills, and experience between Ethiopia and the Nordic countries. In addition, we participate in medical relief and other voluntary initiatives in collaboration with governmental and non-governmental organizations in Ethiopia.
